C2A Has Moved to Arvada Colorado

The Covid years changed how I personally looked at the years ahead.

At the time my wife and I were living in New Hampshire. With travel restricted and both of our adult children living far away in Colorado we started to wonder if living so far away from them made sense for how we wanted to spend the coming years. It didn’t.

Post Covid we sold our NH home and ventured west. We landed in Arvada in 2023. It took us a bit to find our footing. We love the mountains, the area, the people and being close to our kids and grandkids. Life is good.

Now that we are a bit more settled, we are ready to relaunch the choose2advance program we founded in NH. We are exploring the interest, making community connections and getting ready to re-launch.

Over the last few years I have been the Organizational Director of a men’s organization called Journeymen. (journeymen.co). Working with these men in a Mentor/Elder role I have witnesses first hand how valuable community based mentorship programs are for both the mentor and the mentee.

So …. as we re-launch choose2advance we are looking to add an additional community based mentorship program here in Arvada. To be honest, the Housing Program we were running was always kind of a Mentor/Mentee concept.

Both programs are about “reaching back” and helping the next person up.
